Featured treatments
Skin redness relief and acne treatment are among the most in-demand laser and light therapies across our clinics, and among the most clinically supported indications on the Alma Harmony platform family.
SR uses IPL technology filtered to wavelengths that target haemoglobin and sub-surface inflammation, reducing redness, calming reactive skin, and restoring brightness over a course of treatments. It is particularly effective for clients whose skin has plateaued with topical care, or who experience persistent post-inflammatory redness and sensitivity.
Diffuse facial redness & flushing
Post-inflammatory redness & skin sensitivity
Sub-surface inflammation & reactive skin
Dull, uneven complexion lacking brightness
General skin clarity & tone improvement
The Iris acne handpiece on Alma Harmony uses broadband IPL with acne-specific filters to target the bacteria driving inflammatory breakouts, reducing active acne and improving skin clarity over a course of treatments. A non-antibiotic, non-topical option for persistent or treatment-resistant acne.
Active inflammatory acne & breakouts
Persistent acne unresponsive to topicals
Skin redness associated with acne
Skin clarity between breakout cycles
Available at Melbourne only. Multiple sessions typically recommended.
Additional treatments
The same system that treats your redness and acne can also address hair removal, vascular concerns, or skin laxity, depending on your clinic and treatment plan. No need to book a separate device or clinic.
Long-term hair reduction on the face and body using Super Hair Removal technology. Broad skin type suitability. Multiple sessions for optimal results.
Pen-shaped green diode laser for precise targeting of thread veins, rosacea capillaries, and discrete pigmented spots.
IPL for both vascular lesions, including rosacea and thread veins, and pigmented lesions in one handpiece. Canberra clinic only.
Near-infrared energy for non-ablative collagen stimulation and skin laxity improvement. No surface disruption. Canberra clinic only.

SR targets haemoglobin and sub-surface inflammation, not just surface pigmentation. This makes it especially effective for diffuse redness, reactive or inflamed skin, and post-inflammatory sensitivity that does not respond well to topical products alone. It addresses the underlying inflammation rather than masking the appearance.
For SR, most clients see improvement after 1-3 sessions spaced 3-4 weeks apart. Acne treatment typically involves 4-6 sessions, 1-2 weeks apart. Hair removal requires multiple sessions depending on the area and hair type. Your practitioner will outline a recommended plan at consultation.
In many cases, yes. Because both platforms house multiple handpieces, it is often possible to treat more than one concern in a single visit, for example combining SR with acne treatment. Your practitioner will advise on what is safe and appropriate for your skin at consultation.
Most clients return to normal activities immediately. Temporary redness or mild sensitivity typically resolves within a few hours. Your practitioner will advise based on the specific handpiece and settings used.
Absolutely, and many clients do. SR and acne treatment address redness, inflammation, and skin clarity; Thermage FLX and Ultherapy target deeper structural tightening and lifting. Together, they cover a broader range of concerns than either can address alone. Your practitioner can help design a combined treatment plan.
