755nm
ALEXANDRITE
Targets superficial pigmentation - effective on surface-level sun damage and age spots
BODY SKIN BRIGHTENING · CANBERRA CLINIC
Titanium Body Brightening uses triple-wavelength laser technology - calibrated specifically for skin tone improvement - to target sun damage, uneven pigmentation, and dullness on the body. A dedicated brightening protocol, separate from Titanium Lifting or hair removal treatment. Available at our Canberra clinic.
TITANIUM BODY
THE TREATMENT
Titanium Body Brightening uses the same triple-wavelength laser platform as Titanium Lifting - but with settings and protocols specifically calibrated for skin brightening and tone correction rather than lifting or hair removal.
755nm
Targets superficial pigmentation - effective on surface-level sun damage and age spots
810nm
Targets mid-depth pigmentation - the core wavelength for general skin tone correction
1064nm
Targets deeper pigmentation - suitable for a broader range of skin tones
This is a dedicated brightening treatment - not a byproduct of Titanium Lifting or hair removal sessions. It uses distinct settings and is performed as a separate, purposefully designed brightening protocol.
HOW IT WORKS
Titanium Body Brightening delivers controlled laser energy through three wavelengths simultaneously - each absorbed selectively by melanin at different depths. This multi-depth approach allows the treatment to address a broader range of pigmentation types than single-wavelength treatments.
01
Your practitioner assesses your areas of concern, skin tone, and the type and depth of pigmentation - confirming whether Titanium Body Brightening is appropriate and outlining the recommended treatment plan.
02
Avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least 4 weeks before treatment. Do not use self-tanning products in the weeks leading up to your appointment. Arrive with clean, product-free skin on the treatment area.
03
20 to 45 minutes depending on area
The Titanium handpiece is passed systematically over the treatment area using the brightening protocol. Most clients describe the sensation as a gentle warmth. Well tolerated without anaesthesia for most clients.
04
Skin tone and clarity improve progressively over a course of sessions - with improvement continuing between sessions as the skin's renewal response develops.
TREATMENT TARGETS
Sun damage and age spots on the arms, shoulders, back, and decolletage
Uneven skin tone and patchy pigmentation on the body
General dullness and lack of skin radiance on body skin
Superficial and mid-depth pigmentation from chronic sun exposure
Skin tone irregularities across larger body surface areas
Most effective on sun-related pigmentation. Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and melasma may respond differently - your practitioner will assess at consultation.
TREATMENT AREAS
Upper and lower arms - one of the most common areas for accumulated sun damage, age spots, and uneven skin tone.
The chest and upper breast area - often significantly more sun-damaged than the face despite receiving less skincare attention.
Areas of frequent, unprotected sun exposure - often developing patchy pigmentation and uneven tone over time.
The backs of the hands - where age spots and sun damage are commonly noticed and frequently underaddressed.
All treatment areas confirmed at consultation. Tanned skin is a contraindication - treatment must be postponed until tan has fully faded.

FAQ
No - they use the same platform but completely different protocols, settings, and clinical goals. Titanium Lifting targets skin laxity and structural remodelling. Titanium Body Brightening targets pigmentation and skin tone improvement. They are separate treatments performed in separate sessions.
The number of sessions depends on the degree of pigmentation, the areas being treated, and individual skin response. Your practitioner will outline a recommended course at consultation based on your specific presentation.
Yes - where appropriate, both treatments can be incorporated into your programme. Your practitioner will advise on sequencing and scheduling at consultation.
No - tanned skin is a contraindication for laser brightening treatment. Treatment must be postponed until the tan has fully faded, typically 4-6 weeks after sun exposure. We recommend avoiding sun exposure and using SPF 50+ daily in the weeks leading up to and following treatment.
Both treatments use light-based energy to improve body skin tone - but through different technologies. Titanium Body Brightening uses triple-wavelength diode laser energy, which allows it to target pigmentation at multiple depths simultaneously. Alma Harmony uses IPL. Your practitioner will advise on the most appropriate option at consultation.
Most clients experience minimal downtime. Temporary redness or mild sensitivity in the treated area may occur and typically resolves within a few hours.
