Before & After Results
Individual results vary. A consultation is required to assess suitability and treatment planning.
THE TREATMENT
Clinical Skin Lesion Removal at Prime Cosmetic Clinic.
Skin lesions such as warts, skin tags, and seborrhoeic keratoses are benign growths that can be persistent, uncomfortable, or a source of self-consciousness - particularly on visible areas of the face, hands, or body.
At Prime Cosmetic Clinic, skin lesion removal is performed by registered nurses using Plasma Pen or Alma Harmony VascuPen - depending on the size, location, and nature of the lesion. Both methods deliver targeted energy directly to the lesion tissue without the need for cutting or surgical excision.
TREATMENT METHODS
Two Technologies. One Goal.
Plasma Pen
Uses ionised plasma energy to deliver a controlled electrical arc to the surface of the lesion - vaporising the tissue layer by layer with minimal heat transfer to surrounding skin. The treated area forms a small crust that heals over in the days following treatment.
Alma Harmony VascuPen
Uses a fine needle electrode to deliver targeted electrical energy directly into the lesion tissue - disrupting its vascular supply and structure. Particularly effective for smaller, more superficial lesions and skin tags.
Your practitioner will recommend the most appropriate method for your specific lesion type, size, and location at consultation.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Frequently Asked Questions.
Do I need a consultation before skin lesion removal?+-
Yes - a consultation is required prior to treatment. Your practitioner will assess the lesion, confirm it is appropriate for removal, and discuss the procedure and aftercare. If there is any uncertainty about the nature of the lesion, you will be referred to a GP or dermatologist for assessment first.
Will the lesion come back after treatment?+-
Plasma Pen and VascuPen effectively remove the visible lesion tissue. For warts specifically, because they are caused by HPV - a virus that remains in the body - there is a possibility of recurrence, particularly in individuals with compromised immunity.
Is the treatment painful?+-
Most clients experience a brief, sharp warmth at each treatment point. A topical numbing cream is applied prior to treatment where needed. Pain tolerance varies between individuals and treatment sites.
Will it leave a scar?+-
When performed correctly on appropriate lesions, Plasma Pen and VascuPen treatments carry a low risk of scarring. There may be temporary redness or mild pigmentation change at the treatment site, which typically fades over weeks to months.
Can you remove moles as well?+-
The removal of pigmented lesions such as moles requires a clinical assessment to confirm the lesion is benign before any removal is considered. If you have a lesion you would like assessed, please contact our clinic - we can advise on the appropriate next steps, which may include referral to a GP or dermatologist prior to removal.
